Went to Giant Hypermart at IMM to pickup some last minutes groceries with mum just now. We got a couple of these lovely chinese wong bok cabbages.

But the queue to pay was insane. There were 18 cashier counters open, almost the full capacity. And some counters even had 2 cash registers and 2 cashiers. Which means I’d hazzard a guess that there were well over 20 cashiers working.

But this was the scene of the queue to my left.

And this was the queue to my right.

I ended up waiting for about 30 min till it was my turn to check out.

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.
